Join our 5-week “Just Write Poetry” Challenge!

The hardest part about writing poetry is sitting down to do it, so let’s do it together! Commit to five weeks and you will walk away with new poems, encouragement, & new poetry friends. No experience, just openness.

Meet at Hype Cafe 1129 Pennsylvania Ave SE Sundays, 5-7pm. February 10, 24, March 3, 10, 17

First week: Bring a poem (yours or someone else’s) that you love, paper, & pen.

Each week, you will be given poetry prompts with ample writing time and space. You have one week to work on your brand new poem. The following week, we’ll share our poems and offer only positive feedback. Let’s create a positive and supportive community to encourage each other to write more.
